About Us
Halo's Shih Tzus offers breed standard Shih Tzus with big personalities. It is owned by Lisa Dickie.

Lisa has always had a strong affection for animals, often bringing injured critters home as a child to nurse back to health. She believes that all animals are capable of feeling our emotions and has always felt a deep connection with dogs in particular. Dogs have the ability to serve as companions, therapy dogs, service dogs, and working dogs, so it is our responsibility to ensure that they receive the best possible quality of life - Lisa feels that she plays a small part in ensuring this for your dog.

She owned Furry Angels Grooming from 2003- March 2025 before handing over the reigns to one of her mentees. She has been breeding and showing dogs since 2006. Recently, she earned her certificate in canine hydrotherapy and is looking forward to launching her business soon!

Lisa resides just outside Bridgewater, NS with her husband Rob and their pack of Shih Tzus. As a former military medic who cared for humans, she views her work as coming full circle by caring for pets and, consequently, their owners.
